seasonal produce guide

Often times I’ll come across a great juice recipe, or vegetable casserole recipe and I’ll wonder “Is this vegetable in season?  Will it be at the store when I get there?”.   It’s really disappointing to have your heart set on one food only to find it’s not available.  Luckily these days most fruits and vegetable are available year round however, they still look and taste better during their prime growing season.  This led me to compile the Seasonal Produce Guide that I’d like to share with you via the link below.  Categorized by season and in alphabetical order, this is a basic guide to the most common produce. Print it out and keep it next to your cookbooks or on the refrigerator for a quick reference.
